PRESS RELEASE:

Couple Opens Auto Shop with a Focus Towards Women & Families
Southwest Metro Gets a Different Type of Auto Repair Shop

St. Bonifacius, Nov. 16, 2015/The Bearded Mechanic/- Women are earning, spending, and influencing spending at a greater rate than ever before. In fact, women account for $7 trillion in consumer and business spending in the United States, and over the next decade, they will control two thirds of consumer wealth. Women make or influence 85% of all purchasing decisions, and purchase over 50% of traditional male products, including automobiles, home improvement products and consumer electronics.

It's no surprise most women despise bringing in their car for service (in fact many men do too!)... dirty bathrooms, unkept waiting room, uncomfortable seating and pushy salesmen. The Bearded Mechanic did an online survey before opening to discover what customers really want. How about free wifi, big screen TV, complimentary beverages, clean bathrooms, extra comfy seating, and a space just for families? The Bearded Mechanic provides a comfy waiting room AND a cozy family waiting room that includes: kids play area, arts corner, baby changing station, family games, and sofa.

Comfort and cleanliness were only second to the overwhelming response addressing the honesty and trust of a good mechanic. They found out that both men and women have had negative experiences with the integrity of their mechanic. At The Bearded Mechanic customers can make informed decisions about their car repairs without feeling pushed, pressured or patronized. "Each customer is unique and deserves a personal explanation of what's going on with their car," says Kyle McCabe. He hopes that his honesty will create a life long customer who will graciously spread the word about his new business.

About The Bearded Mechanic
The Bearded Mechanic consists of Kyle and Alonna McCabe, who have many years of experience in both mechanical repair/maintenance and management/customer service. Kyle finished his training at Dunwoody College of Technology in 2008. In 2011 the two married and set goals of running their own auto shop with a focus of providing honest service toward women, families and men. Searching for the right shop was looking pretty gloomy until they came across the perfect location in St. Bonifacius, MN. Alonna says, "We wanted to be in the up and coming area of the southwest metro, we couldn't be more excited about our location in this sweet little town!" Feel good supporting this family owned local business and check out how dedicated they are to doing things differently!
